Frequently asked questions about kindergarten & school photography
How are the photos matched to the right child? +
Every child has a QR code. You briefly photograph it on photo day – on upload the software automatically sorts the pictures to the right child, with review and correction.
What happens if I forget a QR card? +
There are two safety nets. First, the assignment view flags suspicious pauses: there are practically always two to three minutes between two children and almost never within one series, so a large gap in the middle of a series strongly suggests a missed card. Second, you can have the remaining photos assigned by time: on the check-off list you tap each child on the shoot day as soon as it has been photographed, and the software matches those times against the capture times of the photos. The list also works offline and syncs later. The only requirement is a correctly set camera clock (including daylight saving) – if it does not match the check-off times, the software deliberately assigns nothing and tells you how far off the clock is. Nothing is ever re-sorted automatically: suggestions stay suggestions, and you can correct them by hand at any time.
